Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In that time she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the pandemic coronavirus, and two other administrations' efforts. Kristin travelled extensively, including both the vice president and president. The reporter even took a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won an Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin as adept at filmmaking, launched Field Mouse Films, a firm that is specialized in documentary-style films for companies such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she earned from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
